You will explore the Uxmal archaeological site, a key Mayan site in the Yucatan, on this tour from San Francisco de Campeche.

Uxmal Tour

At 8 am, pickup will be at the Ocean View Hotel. We will travel to Puuc, known for its significant pre-Columbian archaeological sites.

After a 2-hour drive, we will arrive at the ancient Mayan city of Uxmal, recognized as a World Heritage Site. The tour of the monumental complex will start with its temples and step pyramids.

The guided tour will begin at the Pyramid of the Magician. Within this 5-level step pyramid, participants will learn about an intriguing ancient legend.

Next, we will visit the Quadrangle of the Nuns, a unique rectangular building filled with discoveries. Following this, we will stop at the remains of the Governor's Palace and the Ball Game field, which was a popular sport in pre-Columbian times.

Upon concluding the visit to Uxmal, we will return to Campeche, arriving at approximately 2:30 pm.
