Aparecida Day Trip

Meet us at the entrance of the Hotel Leão da Montanha in Campos do Jordão. From there, we will head to Aparecida, a significant religious center in Brazil.

Upon arrival in São Paulo, we'll visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Aparecida, noted as the second-largest basilica globally, following St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. We will observe its exterior architecture and large dimensions.

Next, we will enter the basilica to see the carving of the patron saint of Brazil. After learning about the veneration of the Virgin of Our Lady of Aparecida, we will participate in a 45-minute mass in the central nave of the temple, enhancing our experience.

After the mass, you will have 3 hours of free time in Aparecida to explore the sanctuary, shop, and enjoy refreshments. You may also take this time for private prayer and reflection.

Finally, we will reconvene at the Basilica entrance for our return to the meeting point, concluding the tour.
