Chichén Itzá & Ek Balam Day Trip

We will pick you up from your hotel and head to the Yucatán Peninsula to visit Chichén Itzá. Upon arrival, we will see the Temple of Kukulcán, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. This pyramid features colossal staircases and holds centuries of history.

We will also explore the Great Ball Court, the Venus Temple, and the Temple of the Warriors, as well as learn about celestial influences on Mayan decisions at the observatory.

Next, we will visit the Hubiku Cenote, a 200-foot (60-meter) deep cenote for swimming. A Yucatecan lunch will be provided, and you will have the option to visit a tequila museum.

Our journey continues to the Mayan city of Ek Balam, dating back to 300 BC. We will see the Entrance Arch, the ceremonial centre, the Oval Palace, and the Ballcourt, all in excellent condition.

We will stop at the tomb of Ukit Kan Le'k Tok' to appreciate the detailed frieze and learn about its two pyramids.

After 12 hours of cultural exploration, we will return to the starting point.
