If you're passionate about the ecosystems that exist under the earth's surface, you can't miss out on this snorkeling experience at MUSA Cancun. You'll dive around an underwater exhibit that is unique in the world.
Description
When making your reservation, you can choose between two snorkeling locations at the MUSA (Museo Subacuático del Arte) in Cancun. Both options meet at Kukulcan Boulevard and include boat transportation to the snorkeling area, English-speaking instructors, and snorkeling equipment. Below are the options:
MUSA & Punta Nizuc Snorkeling Tour (3 hours)
We'll hop on a boat to cross the Nichupte lagoon until we reach a marine platform at Punta Nizuc. There we'll provide the snorkeling equipment to enjoy the reefs full of lobsters, barracudas, groupers, and manta rays.
Part of the MUSA exhibition is located in this area, where we can see up to 16 sculptures, such as La Jardinera de la Esperanza or La Última Cena, and observe the corals developed around these works of art.
This tour departs every day at 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm.
MUSA & Manchones Reef Snorkeling Tour (4.5 hours)
This option will go to Manchones Reef, next to Isla Mujeres. Upon arrival, we will put on our snorkel gear to admire the turtles, sponges, stars, cucumbers, and over 35 species of scleractinian corals.
In this area, you will also see the sculptures of the Underwater Museum of Art, swimming around famous pieces like The Silent Evolution, Burning Man, or The Promise.
This tour is available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 8 am.
