MUSA Snorkeling Tour

If you're passionate about the ecosystems that exist under the earth's surface, you can't miss out on this snorkeling experience at MUSA Cancun. You'll dive around an underwater exhibit that is unique in the world.

Description

When making your reservation, you can choose between two snorkeling locations at the MUSA (Museo Subacuático del Arte) in Cancun. Both options meet at Kukulcan Boulevard and include boat transportation to the snorkeling area, English-speaking instructors, and snorkeling equipment. Below are the options:

MUSA & Punta Nizuc Snorkeling Tour (3 hours)

We'll hop on a boat to cross the Nichupte lagoon until we reach a marine platform at Punta Nizuc. There we'll provide the snorkeling equipment to dive into the water and explore reefs with lobsters, barracudas, groupers, and manta rays. This area includes part of the MUSA exhibition with up to 16 sculptures from the underwater gallery, such as La Jardinera de la Esperanza and La Última Cena. This tour departs daily at 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm.

MUSA & Manchones Reef Snorkeling Tour (4.5 hours)

This option goes to Manchones Reef near Isla Mujeres. Upon arrival, we'll equip you with snorkel gear to view turtles, sponges, stars, cucumbers, and over 35 species of scleractinian corals. You will also see sculptures of the Underwater Museum of Art, including The Silent Evolution, Burning Man, and The Promise. This tour operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 8 am.
