Become a real marine explorer with this diving introduction in Cancun. We'll discover the biodiversity of species that inhabit the Caribbean Sea.
Description
We'll meet at the indicated time at Blvd Kukulkán km 5.5 in the hotel area in Cancun to learn the basic techniques of scuba diving for open sea dives.
First, we'll have a one-hour theory lesson with audio-visual content to learn the basic principles of diving. Then we'll enter confined waters for a one-hour practical lesson, focusing on how to breathe with the regulator and basic underwater communication techniques.
Afterward, we'll set sail for Manchones Reef, a 12 kilometre (7.5 mile) stretch of coral and tropical fish. During the two dives, we'll descend to a depth of 10 metres (32 feet), exploring the marine biodiversity. We may see turtles and manta rays as we swim along the seabed. Additionally, we'll visit the MUSA Underwater Museum.
After this aquatic experience, we'll conclude the diving introduction and return to the starting point after 5 hours of diving.
