On this excursion to Tulum from Cancun, we will visit an important pre-Columbian area of the Mexican Caribbean and a Mayan village, where you can swim in a sacred cenote.

Description

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cancun at the designated time and drive south to Tulum, a significant Maya site on the Yucatan coast. The guided tour will explore the main monuments, including the Temple of the Frescoes, adorned with stuccoes, and the Temple of the Descending God, where we will learn about this Maya deity. The tour will also include El Castillo, known for its stunning views of the Caribbean Sea.

Next, we will visit a Mayan village where the locals will share their customs and traditions. You will participate in a handmade tortilla workshop, learning about ancestral foods. After the workshop, you will have an hour to swim in the cenote, enjoying its turquoise waters.

After your swim, we will return to Cancun, with an arrival scheduled 5.5 to 7 hours after departure.
