Why Visit the Egyptian Museum in Canela?

Located in the Serra Gaúcha, the Egyptian Museum in Canela has the largest collection about the land of the pharaohs in Latin America. The collection includes amulets, sarcophagi, and artifacts that have traveled across Brazil and beyond, now housed as a permanent attraction in Canela.

The museum features perfect replicas created by the Egyptian artist Essam Elbattal and his team. Visitors are advised to start in the main hall, showcasing a variety of objects and sculptures, and continue to the papyrus corridor.
