Tour Details
Founded in 1948 by a French man, the Jolimont Winery in Canela, in the Serra Gaúcha, was one of the first wineries in Rio Grande do Sul. The tour begins at the entrance of the winery, discussing its international award-winning production, history, and winemaking processes. Participants will learn about grape cultivation, fermentation, and storage, as well as the impact of the region’s mountainous topography on grape quality. After the winery tour, there will be a tasting of 7 Jolimont wines and a personalised glass of wine will be provided. The total duration of the guided tour is 1 hour.
