By taking a tour of the Jolimont Winery, you'll discover the secrets of how its wines are made right in the heart of Canela.
Tour Details
Founded in 1948 by a French man, the Jolimont Winery in Canela, in the Serra Gaúcha, was one of the first wineries in Rio Grande do Sul.
Upon arrival at the winery entrance, the tour begins with an overview of its international award-winning production, detailing its history and winemaking processes. Participants will learn about grape cultivation, fermentation, and storage, as well as how the mountainous topography of the region contributes to its ideal grape-growing environment.
Following the winery tour, there will be a tasting of 7 Jolimont wines. Each participant will also receive a personalised glass of wine. The tour lasts for 1 hour, concluding with a farewell from the Jolimont facilities.
