Sella River Canoeing
Your experience begins at our Activity Centre in Las Rozas (Cangas de Onís) with a basic introduction and provision of all the necessary equipment for your canoeing adventure. On-site facilities include changing rooms, showers, and toilets. Canoeing can be done for a duration of your choice. Additionally, children under 12 can enjoy a free mini-golf activity. At the end of your adventure, transportation back to the meeting point will be provided.
Routes
You may select from the following routes, all starting from Las Rozas in Cangas de Onís:
4 km route: takes 1 to 2 hours to Arriondas.
12 km route: lasts approximately 3.5 hours from Arriondas to Toraño.
19 km route: takes about 5 hours from Arriondas and Toraño to Llovio, near the mouth of the Sella in the Ría de Ribadesella.
Equipment
Wear comfortable clothes, a hat or cap, and sunscreen in summer. We provide all necessary equipment: canoes (1, 2, or 3 seats), paddles, life jackets, and dry bags. Depending on weather conditions, wetsuits may also be provided.

You must know how to swim to participate in this activity.
