Sella River Canoeing
Upon arrival at our Activity Centre in Las Rozas (Cangas de Onís), you will receive a basic introduction and necessary equipment for your canoeing adventure. Our facilities include changing rooms, showers, and toilets. You can canoe down the Sella River for as long as you prefer. Additionally, children under 12 may participate in a free mini-golf activity at our sports and leisure complex. At the end of the activity, transportation back to the meeting point will be provided.
Routes
You can choose one of the following routes, all starting from Las Rozas, Cangas de Onís:
4 km route: lasts 1 to 2 hours, ending at Arriondas.
12 km route: approximately 3.5 hours, from Arriondas to Toraño.
19 km route: around 5 hours, from Arriondas and Toraño to Llovio, near the Sella's mouth in the Ría de Ribadesella.
Equipment
For the activity, wear comfortable clothes, a hat or cap, and sun cream during summer. We provide all equipment, including canoes (1, 2, or 3 seats), paddles, life jackets, and dry bags. Depending on weather conditions, wetsuits will also be supplied.
