Prepare your senses for this excursion to Grasse, a town known for its perfume making, and experience the medieval charm of the French Riviera with a wine tasting on the same day.
Day Trip to Grasse + Wine Tasting
After pickup in Cannes, we will travel to Grasse, a town linked to the book Perfume, adapted into a film in 2006.
Grasse's history in perfumes includes numerous factories and museums. We will visit the Fragonard factory to learn about the local perfume culture.
Next, we will head to the medieval town of Valbonne, where we will visit its monastery and explore its influence on the town. You will have free time to explore its streets or sample local cuisine.
From Valbonne, we will stop in Gourdon to appreciate the medieval charm of the area, including its church and historic center with old stone houses.
Finally, we will enjoy a wine tasting at a vineyard in Bellet, famous for producing some of France's best wines.
The tour concludes back at your hotel in Cannes.
