Montecrestese Hiking + Wine Tasting Tour

At 8:20 am we'll meet at the Collegiate Church of San Vittore. We'll board a bus and leave Cannobio behind to set off for Montecrestese. The journey will take about 1 hour.

Once we reach our destination, we'll start a 3 hour 30 minute trekking route, getting in touch with the nature surrounding Montecrestese.

We'll admire the Ossola Valley and walk along the banks of the River Toce, observing megalithic sites that served as places of worship, burial grounds, and ancient villages.

After the hiking route and viewing small rural churches, we'll arrive at a wine cellar for a wine tasting. The tasting includes 3 glasses of local reds and whites, along with local cheeses, sausages, and bread.

Afterwards, we'll return to the bus, finishing the activity at 5 pm and arriving back at the starting point.
