Montecrestese Hiking + Wine Tasting Tour

At 8:20 am we'll meet at the Collegiate Church of San Vittore. We'll board a bus and leave Cannobio behind to set off for Montecrestese. The journey will take about 1 hour.

Once we reach our destination, we'll start a 3 hour 30 minute trekking route. The walk will allow us to get in touch with the nature surrounding the village of Montecrestese.

As well as admiring the Ossola Valley and walking along the banks of the River Toce, we'll see megalithic sites that reveal their roles as places of worship, burial grounds, and ancient villages.

After the hike and visiting small rural churches, we'll arrive at a wine cellar for a wine tasting. The tasting will consist of 3 glasses of local reds and whites, accompanied by local cheeses, sausages, and bread.

Afterwards, we'll return to the bus and conclude the activity at 5 pm, arriving at the starting point.
