Excursion to Whitsunday Island with Snorkeling

Your journey begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Airlie Beach, followed by a ride on a boat heading toward the largest of the Whitsunday Islands. Are you ready to explore one of the most stunning beaches globally? We certainly are!

Upon arrival at Whitsunday Island, we'll set out to discover Whitehaven Beach, renowned for its beautiful white sand stretching over 7 kilometers (4 miles). This beach has become a hallmark of the archipelago. You will enjoy two hours of free time for swimming, sunbathing, or savoring a picnic lunch, which can be purchased during the excursion.

Following this, a brief hike will lead us to the picturesque Hill Inlet viewpoint. Here, you will take in the lush flora of Whitsunday Island and witness the dynamic shifts of the beach influenced by the tides and winds.

Next, we’ll board the boat again, excited for our snorkeling adventure. Depending on the day's weather and conditions, we may visit various spots like the Border or Dumbell Islands or the areas surrounding Whitsunday to safely explore the underwater paradise.

As you swim alongside the vibrant coral reefs, you'll have the chance to observe the diverse fish and sea turtles inhabiting this vibrant ecosystem. With guidance from our knowledgeable instructors, you will also learn to identify many species during your underwater explorations.

Your adventure will conclude around 4:30 pm, with a return to the starting point for drop-off.
