Join us for a hike to Pienzu Peak, reaching an altitude of 1160 meters (3,800 feet) with views of the coastal Sueve mountain range. We will meet at the Alto del Fito viewpoint, located 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) from Caravia's center.

The hike begins through pine forests, leading us to Pienzu Peak, the highest point of the Sueve mountain range. Along the way, we will enjoy views of Colunga and Caravia towns and their beaches.

Our route will take us to El Bustacu, situated at 653 meters (2,150 feet) above sea level, a shelter for shepherds and livestock. From here, we will start the steeper ascent to Pienzu Peak, with the possibility of spotting wild Asturcones horses.

We will cross the Beluenzu pass and reach the summit of Pienzu Peak at 1160 meters (3,800 feet). The panoramic views of the coast and Asturian mountains, including the Picos de Europa national park, will be remarkable.

After a break at the summit, we will begin our descent. The total duration of the hike will be five hours, returning to the starting point.
