On this day trip to Carbonera, Boca de Camarioca, and Santa Marta, we will travel between villages, mangroves, cenotes, a monkey refuge, and a fruit farm.

Tour Description

After picking you up at the indicated time at your hotel in Varadero, we will travel to the protected area of Laguna de Maya.

Upon arrival at Laguna de Maya, we will board a boat for a 1-hour ride into the mangroves. Once we disembark, we'll start a hiking route to the village of Carbonera. In this small coastal town, horses will be available for a 15-minute ride while we admire the sea.

Next, we will arrive at the cenote of Saturn Cave, where you can enjoy swimming and relaxing for 1 hour in the crystalline waters. Following this, we will head to Boca de Camarioca for an authentic lunch in a local restaurant and a lesson on making a Cuban mojito.

After lunch, we will proceed to Santa Marta for a guided tour of the historic center and the village market, showcasing rural Cuban life.

Lastly, we will take a traditional horse-drawn carriage to the Los Monos farm to interact with monkeys and learn about the seasonal fruit plantations, including tastings. We will then return to Varadero and conclude the tour at your hotel after a duration of 9 hours.
