Tobacco, Rum and Sugar Tour

On this tour, we'll discover the rich history of sugar, rum, and tobacco in Cuba. It's an opportunity to try the country's three most traditional products.

Cuban Products Tour

After hotel pickup at the indicated time, we'll start by visiting the Azúcar y el Vapor "José Smith Comas" Museum, entering the sugar cane world and witnessing a demonstration of hand-cutting these plants. We'll explore the plantation facilities and learn about the sugar production process, along with a tasting of sugar cane juice, known as "guarapo".

Next, we'll board a steam train from the early 20th century to Cárdenes station. Our next destination is the Ron Arrechavala Factory, the birthplace of Havana Club Rum, where we'll learn about the distillation and ageing processes of this popular drink.

After the museum, we'll enjoy lunch prepared with fresh ingredients. Following that, we'll take a panoramic tour around Varadero, appreciating the countryside and main attractions before arriving at Casa del Ron, where we'll explore the history and fabrication process of Cuban rum and try a selection of rums and creamy liquors.

The tour continues at Las Morlas Square, where we'll discuss the importance of Cuban tobacco and have the chance to observe cigar rolling, with an option to make your own. Free time will be provided in Las Morlas Square for souvenirs and local atmosphere.

Finally, we will return you to your accommodation in Varadero after 10 hours of activity. See you soon!
