We will commence our adventure with a hotel pick-up at the designated time, leading us to the Azúcar y el Vapor "José Smith Comas" Museum. Here, you will step into the realm of sugar cane and observe a live demonstration of traditional hand-cutting techniques.

Next, we will delve into the plantation facilities to gain insights into the sugar production journey. To refresh our spirits, indulge in a tasting of sugar cane juice, also known as "guarapo". Have you experienced this delight?

Continuing our journey, we'll board a historic steam train from the early 20th century to reach Cárdenes station, allowing us to feel as though we've stepped back in time. Our subsequent destination is the Ron Arrechavala Factory, famed for its role as the birthplace of the renowned Havana Club Rum. Here, you will uncover the intricacies of the distillation and aging processes behind this beloved Cuban spirit.

Upon departing the museum, we’ll savor a delicious lunch prepared with local ingredients at a nearby restaurant. Following our meal, we will embark on a scenic tour of Varadero, taking in its stunning landscapes and prominent sites before arriving at Casa del Ron. At this location, you will learn about the fascinating history and manufacturing of Cuban rum, as well as enjoy a tasting of a variety of rums and creamy liquors.

The adventure continues at Las Morlas Square, where we will discuss the significance of Cuban tobacco. You’ll have the opportunity to witness the art of cigar rolling and, if you wish, even craft your own cigar.

We’ll conclude this excursion with some free time in Las Morlas Square, an ideal location to pick up souvenirs and soak in the vibrant local ambiance.

After an enriching 10-hour experience, we will return you to your accommodation in Varadero. Until next time!
