Varadero Private Day Trips

When making your booking, you'll be able to choose from the different day trips below. They each last 9 hours and include pickup from your hotel in Varadero and drop off at the end of the activity. Your driver-guide will pick you up at 8 am.

Matanzas & Bellamar Caves Day Trip

This day trip includes a visit to the 300,000-year-old Bellamar Caves to admire their stalactites and stalagmites. The tour continues in Matanzas, known as the "City of Bridges," where you'll stroll through its historic centre and see the Monserrate Hermitage, Sauto Theatre, and Cathedral of San Carlos Borromeo. You'll also view the Castle of San Severino.

Havana & Tobacco Factory Day Trip

This trip includes a 2.5-hour journey to Havana with stops at the viewpoint of Bacunayagua or El Pescador. You will visit a tobacco factory and learn about the production of Havana cigars. A sightseeing tour of modern Havana will cover the Presidential Palace, Revolution Square, University, Capitol Building, and Old Havana, including the Cathedral and Plaza de Armas.

Playa Larga & Playa Girón Day Trip

This trip involves 2.5 hours of travel to the Bay of Pigs. A stop at Boca de Guamá allows you to visit a crocodile farm or take a boat ride on the Tesoro Lagoon. Afterward, you'll have free time to relax at the beaches of Playa Larga and Playa Girón.

Cienfuegos & Trinidad Day Trip

Starting at 6:30 am, this option includes a 3-hour journey to Cienfuegos, known for its French architecture. You'll explore the city’s avenues and visit the 17th-century Valle Palace. The tour continues to Trinidad, where you will see the Plaza Mayor and Convent of San Francisco de Asís, and have the chance to visit the arts and crafts market.
