Tortuguero National Park Multi-Day Tour

On this 2 or 3-day tour of Tortuguero National Park, you'll experience the Costa Rican jungle and its wildlife.

Description

Day 1

We'll meet at La Pavona Pier to board a boat across the Suerte River to the Tortuguero River. After exploring the national park's waters, we’ll arrive at the lodge around 12 noon. Enjoy lunch at the lodge before heading to the town of Tortuguero for a comprehensive tour. We’ll return to the lodge for the night.

Day 2

We will start the day with a visit to Tortuguero National Park for an excursion to explore its natural attractions, including the turtle nesting beaches. After a hearty breakfast back at the lodge, we’ll take a boat returning to the starting point, concluding the tour around midday.

3-Day Tour

For those wanting an extra night, the 3-day tour includes a second day where after breakfast, we visit Tortuguero National Park. Post-lunch at the lodge, we will take a hike around the lodge through the trails, gardens, and beaches. The final return will occur after breakfast on the third day.

Accommodation

The tour includes 1 or 2 nights of accommodation with full board at Laguna Lodge.

Meeting Point

The tour starts at La Pavona Pier, although this may change to Caño Blanco Pier depending on the river's water level.
