Tortuguero National Park Multi-Day Tour

On this 2 or 3-day tour of Tortuguero National Park, you will explore the flora and fauna of the Costa Rican jungle.

Description

Day 1

Meet at La Pavona Pier and board a boat to cross the Suerte River, leading to the Tortuguero River. Explore the national park's waters and arrive at the lodge around noon for an overnight stay.

After check-in, enjoy lunch at the hotel restaurant, followed by a visit to the town of Tortuguero to discover its traditions. Return to the lodge for rest.

Day 2

Start the day with a visit to Tortuguero National Park for an excursion to explore its natural attractions. Discover various flora and fauna and the turtle nesting beaches. After a hearty breakfast, return to the boat for the journey back, concluding the tour around midday.

3-Day Tour

The 3-day tour allows for an extra night in Tortuguero. On the second day, after breakfast, visit Tortuguero National Park. After lunch, enjoy a hike around the lodge through trails, gardens, and beaches. Depart back to the starting point on the third day after breakfast.

Accommodation

This tour includes 1 or 2 nights in full board accommodation at Laguna Lodge.

Meeting Point

The tour starts at La Pavona Pier, but may change to Caño Blanco pier depending on the river's water level.
