Description

Day 1

Your journey begins at La Pavona Pier, where you will board a boat heading across the Suerte River, the initial pathway into the Tortuguero River.

As we navigate the park's waters, take in the stunning wildlife characteristic of the Costa Rican riverside. By noon, we will arrive at the lodge for an overnight stay. Prepare for an enthralling night in the heart of the Costa Rican jungle.

Once you have settled into your accommodation, we will gather at the hotel restaurant for a delightful lunch. Following this, a visit to the town of Tortuguero awaits, providing a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture and unique traits of this quaint seaside community.

Afterward, we will head back to the lodge for a restful evening.

Day 2

The adventure continues early the next morning as we set out to explore Tortuguero National Park on an excursion dedicated to its natural wonders. You will discover the myriad species of flora and fauna thriving in the park, including the beaches recognized for turtle nesting. Prepare to be amazed!

Following our exploration, we will return to the lodge for a generous breakfast. Once refreshed, we will leave the lodge and board the boat that will take us back, concluding the tour around midday.

3-Day Tour

If you wish to extend your stay with an additional night in Tortuguero, consider the 3-day tour. On the second day, following breakfast, we will explore Tortuguero National Park.

After enjoying lunch at the lodge, the day wraps up with a hiking adventure around the lodge, where you can stroll along the paths, gardens, and secluded beaches of the locale. Connecting with nature during this hike will be truly rewarding!

On the final day, we will depart for the starting point after breakfast.

Accommodation

This tour includes 1 or 2 nights of accommodation with full board at Laguna Lodge.

Meeting Point

The tour commences at La Pavona Pier. Please note that the meeting location may change depending on the river's water level, potentially moving to Caño Blanco Pier.
