Terminos Lagoon Kayak Tour

Are you looking for activities in Isla Aguada? This kayak tour will take us to explore the area's mangroves while exercising and bird watching for native species in Términos Lagoon.

Tour Highlights

At your selected time, we'll meet at the dock on Marina Boulevard, where we will be waiting for you with the kayaks. We will board the boats, receive tips on paddling, and set off on this aquatic route, entering one of the streams flowing into the Laguna de Términos. In this area, we will see different types of mangroves, including red, piloncillo, and black mangroves, while sharing interesting facts.

After exploring the mangrove area, we will head to the Isla de los Pájaros, a protected natural area known for being an important nesting site for birds. With some luck, we may spot herons, pelicans, cormorants, and other species. Keep your eyes peeled!

After two or two and a half hours of paddling, depending on the group's pace, we will conclude the kayak tour back at the departure dock.
