Uncover how one of the most famous gins in Spain is made on a tour of the Puerto de Indias Distillery in Carmona. See a different side of Andalusia.

Tour Options

When booking your visit to the Puerto de Indias distillery, you can choose between two types of experiences. In both cases, we'll meet at the indicated time at the factory's main entrance.

Standard Tour (1.5 hours)

During this tour, we will explore the factory's foundations sustained by a subterranean water spring dating back to Roman times. We'll learn about the distillation process in copper stills using traditional and modern techniques. The distillation room, where Puerto de Indias gins are made, will be visited along with an exhibition room featuring stills from 1880. The tour concludes with a gin tasting; enjoy 3 different gin varieties, paired with chips or nuts, during 30 minutes of free time in the tasting room.

Premium Tour (2 hours)

The first hour will focus on a sensory experience through various showrooms. Then, we will stroll through the gardens of Finca Brenes, observing fruit trees essential for gin production, followed by an exploration of the Roman water mine beneath the distillery. The second half includes an organoleptic tasting in an exclusive room, sampling a total of five gins. Choose your favorite for the Perfect Serve cocktail ritual to enjoy in the tasting room or gardens, concluding your visit effectively.
