Tour of Roman Carmona

We'll meet at the entrance to the Roman necropolis of Carmona for a two-hour tour to explore the Roman heritage of the city. First, we will enter the Archaeological Site of Carmona to visit two significant constructions from the Roman period: the necropolis and the amphitheatre.

We will begin with the necropolis, recognized as one of the best-preserved historical funerary complexes in Spain. Participants will learn about Roman burial rituals and view impressive tombs carved into the rock.

Adjacent to the necropolis, along the Via Augusta, we will find the Roman amphitheatre, where gladiator battles and various shows were held in ancient Carmo.
