In this beginner scuba diving lesson in Cartagena de Indias, you'll learn to engage in scuba diving safely while exploring the Colombian Caribbean's vibrant seabed.

Cartagena Beginners Scuba Diving Lesson

At the designated time, we will pick you up from your hotel and proceed to Blanca Baru Beach for the lesson. We will start with some theory to prepare for underwater movement before boarding a boat to our diving site.

We will dive for 35 minutes in the Caribbean Sea, watching for lobsters and turtles, and discovering shoals of colourful tropical fish among rocks and corals. After diving, we will return to the boat and head to Tranquila Beach for relaxation on the sand followed by lunch. Lunch includes a choice of a main course: mojarra fish, chicken breast, pork, or a vegetarian option, along with salads and a drink.

After the meal, you will be taken back to your hotel in Cartagena, approximately 7.5 to 8 hours after pickup.

Pickup

Pickup is included from hotels in Bocagrande, El Laguito, and Castillogrande. If your hotel is not in these areas, pickup will be from the Juan Valdez Café at the Cartagena de Indias Convention Centre.

Children 2-12 years old

Children aged 2 to 12 can participate by snorkelling but not by diving.
