This museum resides inside a tunnel carved into the slopes of Concepción Hill, part of a network of bomb shelters constructed during the conflict to protect against aerial attacks by opposing forces. The most severe of these incursions occurred on November 25, 1936, when the Condor Legion unleashed a devastating assault on the city.



With this admission, you will have the opportunity to explore various exhibits and hear personal experiences from those who lived through the war. Opening Hours



The Civil War Shelters Museum is open during the following hours:

From July 1st to September 15th: Daily from 10 am to 8 pm.From March 15th to June 30th / September 16th to November 1st: Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 7 pm.From November 2nd to March 14th: Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 5:30 pm.On January 5th and December 24th and 31st: Open only from 10 am to 2 pm.



Note that the last entry is allowed up to one hour before the museum closes.
