Description
Visit the Punic Wall Interpretation Centre and learn about the significant chapter of Mediterranean history, focusing on the Punic Wars between the Romans and the Carthaginians. Discover details about Qart Hadast ('New City'), founded by General Asdrubal in 229 BC, with the Punic wall being one of the few remaining structures from this ancient civilization. You can stroll along the glass walkways of this archaeological site and observe the burial crypt of the hermitage of San José, along with the unusual Dances of Death paintings on the walls.

Opening hours
The Punic Wall Interpretation Centre has the following opening hours:
From 1st July to 15th September: every day from 10 am to 8 pm.From 15th March to 30th June and from 16th September to 1st November: Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 7 pm.From 2nd November to 14th March: Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 5:30 pm.On January 5 and December 24 and 31: open only from 10 am to 2 pm.
The last access is one hour before closing time. Please note that these hours are subject to change.
Reduced fare
The reduced fare is available to children under 12, students up to 25, Youth Card holders, the unemployed, retirees, individuals with disabilities, large families, and groups of 20 or more. ID is required for eligibility verification.
