Cahmbaculera Trip in Cartagena

At the chosen time, we will meet by the India Catalina Monument to board the chambaculera boat for a journey through the mangroves of Cartagena. You will be seated on this colorful vessel inspired by the Mexican trajineras of Xochimilco. We will sail along the waters of Cartagena de Indias, observing the northern city's rich nature and unique ecosystem supporting numerous species.

During the chambaculera ride, we will navigate through swamps, pass under bridges, and view forts from the water, providing an original way to tour Cartagena. There will also be a live champeta show while enjoying some Colombian beers. After an hour and a half, we will return to the India Catalina Monument to conclude the tour.

Tour options

At the time of booking, you can select from two modalities:

Tour with drinks: includes 6 drinks per person, available from Tuesday to Sunday at 3:30 pm.Tour with lunch: includes a complete meal of mojarra or sierra, coconut rice, patacón, and salad, and 3 drinks per person. This tour occurs from Tuesday to Sunday at 11 am.
