Diving Introduction in Baru

Can you imagine learning to dive on one of the best beaches on the island of Baru? In this diving introduction course, we'll enjoy a day under the sea in this paradise of the Colombian Caribbean!

Description

We'll meet at the indicated time at the dive center located in the Club de Playa Afrocorales. Prior to our entry into the open sea, you will learn the essential techniques of scuba diving. This includes a theory lesson, followed by practical application in confined waters. You will learn to breathe with the regulator and understand the underwater communication signals.

After preparations, we'll board the boat and travel to the Baru barrier reef for a total of two dives, lasting approximately 30 minutes each.

During the dives, we will explore the rich marine biodiversity of Baru, observing species such as parrotfish, lionfish, trumpetfish, urchins, barracudas, and possibly sea turtles! The activity will last between 2.5 to 3 hours before we conclude back at the starting point.
