Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet in the central Plaza de la Paz to start discovering the secrets of Cartagena de Indias. We'll walk through the historic center to uncover the stories and superstitions passed down for generations in Cartagena!
Strolling through the streets of the old town and exploring its historic walls, convents, houses, and old churches, we'll discover a hidden side of this city, nicknamed "La Heroica". As we tour Cartagena, we'll enjoy its vibrant colors and admire its flower-filled balconies. We'll also learn about the local culture and the syncretism that blends these ancient traditions with those inherited from the Spanish.
We'll walk through the neighborhood of San Diego and delve into the details of the lives of important figures in Cartagena de Indias' history, including Nobel Prize winner Gabriel García Márquez. His writings and stories will accompany us as we explore this city.
Finally, after 2.5 hours of sightseeing, we'll conclude the tour in the old town of Cartagena.
