Rosario Islands Day Trip

On this trip to the Rosario Islands from Cartagena, participants will explore a scenic area in the Colombian Caribbean known for clear waters and marine life.

Tour Details

Picks up will occur from your hotel in Cartagena or a designated meeting point. After boarding a speedboat, there will be a scenic crossing of the Bay of Las Ánimas. A brief stop will be made to view the San Fernando Fortress before arriving at Isla Grande, where free time for snorkeling is provided. Next, the tour moves to Cholón Island for one hour of leisure. Then, the group proceeds to Playa Blanca on the Barú Peninsula, with one hour for swimming and relaxation. Lunch will be served here, featuring options like fried mojarra, grilled chicken, rice, salad, and a beverage. The tour concludes after approximately 8.5 hours at the Bocagrande dock.

Tour Without Cholón

Participants can select an option excluding Cholón Island, allowing for three stops of about 1.5 hours each at Isla Grande, Isla Isabela, and Isla Marina, with lunch at Isla Grande, and the tour duration is around seven to seven and a half hours.

Tour Without Cholón and With the Oceanarium

This alternative includes two panoramic views of Fort Bocachica and the old Escobar Mansion. At the start, guests may choose to visit Isla Marina or the Rosario Islands Oceanarium (admission not included). Lunch will occur on Isla Barú or Isla Tierra Bomba, with snorkeling depending on conditions.
