Rosario Islands Day Trip

Embark on a day excursion to the Rosario Islands departing from Cartagena de Indias, where you will uncover the beauty of this secluded area in the Colombian Caribbean and witness its remarkable marine life.

Details of the Day Trip

Our team will pick you up from your hotel in Cartagena de Indias or the designated meeting point at the agreed time. Following this, we will head to the dock to board a speedboat for our journey across the Bahía de las Ánimas.

Gradually, we will navigate into the open sea toward the Rosario Islands. Depending on the chosen package, we will visit various locations within this archipelago, where a lunch will be provided.

After an engaging 8.5-hour experience, we will conclude the trip at the Marina Todomar dock.

Available Tour Options

When you reserve your spot, you can select from the following options:

Tour With Hotel Pickup, Cholón Island, and Oceanario

The local team will pick you up on time from your accommodation located in Bocagrand, Castillo Grande, or Laguito. If you are staying outside these areas, we will meet directly at Muelle de los Pegasos.

This option includes visits to Cholón Island and the Oceanario (admission not included), with three 1.5-hour stops at Isla Grande, Isla Islabela, and Isla Marina. A filling lunch will be served at Isla Grande.

The excursion will conclude at Marina Todomar.

Tour Without Hotel Pickup, Without Cholón Island, and With Oceanario

On the excursion day, we will convene at Monumento Santander, located near Muelle de La Bodeguita – Gate 1.

This option excludes a visit to Cholón Island. Instead, we will make two brief scenic stops by boat: one at Fuerte de Bocachica and another at Mansión Escobar, each lasting approximately 5 minutes. Following this, we will stop at Isla Lizamar, where you can observe a small wildlife habitat. You will then have the chance to visit the Oceanario (admission not included). If you prefer to skip it, you'll have additional time to relax on the beach.

Our route will continue to a beach club on Isla Grande, followed by a satisfying lunch at Isla Marina. Snorkeling activities will be available at any of these locations, providing all necessary equipment.

This excursion will also conclude at Marina Todomar.

Oceanario Admission Policy

Please note that while transportation to the Oceanario is part of both options, entrance to the Oceanario is not included in any option. The ticket fee is 40000COP, payable at the time of the excursion.
