If you're already a certified scuba diver and currently in Baru, prepare for an exciting experience diving off the island's coast. We will depart from Playa Blanca to explore the vibrant marine life of the Colombian Caribbean.
Description
Meet at the Afrocorales Beach Club at the scheduled time. We will board a boat to explore the hidden beauty beneath the crystal-clear Caribbean waters.
Our first destination is a large coral reef barrier, where we will review safety measures before the first dive. The first dive will last approximately half an hour, allowing you to encounter parrotfish, trumpetfish, barracudas, turtles, and more, showcasing a rich biodiversity.
Next, we will visit a shipwreck area, where you can see the remains of several sunken boats. During the second dive, we will explore how various marine species inhabit these wrecks.
After the dives, we will return to the boat and head back to the starting point. The entire activity will last between two and a half to three hours, providing unforgettable memories of this underwater paradise.
Certified divers
Please bring your international diving certification. Non-certified divers can enjoy viewing the shipwreck from the surface but will not participate in the second dive.
