Scuba Diving in Baru

If you're already a certified scuba diver and currently in Baru, prepare for an extraordinary experience! We will leave Playa Blanca and dive into the scuba diving opportunities off the island's coast, showcasing the marine flora and fauna of the Colombian Caribbean.

Description

Join us for a diving adventure in Baru, starting at the Afrocorales Beach Club. We will take a boat to explore the underwater wonders of the Caribbean waters.

Our first destination is a large coral reef barrier for a safety briefing before the first dive, lasting approximately thirty minutes. Expect to see parrotfish, trumpetfish, barracudas, turtles, and various other marine life.

The next stop is a shipwreck area, where during the second dive, you will see how diverse marine species inhabit the wrecks.

After these dives, we will return to the boat and head back. The total duration of the activity is between two and a half to three hours.

Certified divers

Please bring your international diving certification. Non-certified divers can appreciate the shipwrecks from the surface but cannot participate in the second dive.
