If you're already a certified scuba diver and currently in Baru, you have an opportunity for an extraordinary diving experience. The tour departs from Playa Blanca to explore the underwater world of scuba diving off the coast of the island.
Description
The adventure begins at the Afrocorales Beach Club at the designated time. After a brief meeting, participants will board a boat to dive into the pristine Caribbean waters.
The first stop is a large coral reef barrier, where safety measures will be reviewed prior to the first dive. Participants will explore Baru's rich marine life for approximately half an hour, encountering parrotfish, trumpetfish, barracudas, turtles, and more.
The second dive occurs at a shipwreck area, where divers will examine the remains of several sunken boats and how various marine species inhabit these wrecks.
After the dives, the group will return to the boat and head back to the starting point. The entire activity will take between two and a half to three hours, providing lasting memories of the underwater environment.
Certified divers
Participants must bring an international diving certification for the second dive. Non-certified divers can observe the shipwreck from the surface.
