If you're already a certified scuba diver and currently in Baru, prepare for an extraordinary experience! We will leave Playa Blanca behind to explore the scuba diving opportunities off the coast of the island.
Description
We will meet at the Afrocorales Beach Club at the arranged time. From there, we’ll take a boat to explore the hidden underwater world beneath the Caribbean waters.
Our first stop will be at a large coral reef barrier. We will review basic safety measures before the first dive, which lasts approximately half an hour, where you may encounter parrotfish, trumpetfish, barracudas, turtles, and more.
Next, we'll visit a shipwreck area to observe the remains of several sunken boats during the second dive. Here, we will discover how various marine species inhabit these wrecks.
After these experiences, we will return to the boat and head back to the starting point. The activity will last between two and a half to three hours.
Certified divers
Bring your international diving certification. Non-certified divers will be unable to do the second dive but can view the shipwreck from the surface.
