Tierra Bomba Day Trip

Your adventure begins at 8 am with a pick-up from La Bodeguita Pier. Upon arriving at this port in Cartagena de Indias, please ensure you pay the port tax of 5000COP per individual.

After settling the port fee, we will embark at 8:30 am on a scenic boat ride to Tierra Bomba Island. Approximately 25 minutes later, we will reach the Bocachica dock located on the island's southern shore.

Once we disembark, a guided tour of Fort San Fernando awaits, where we will explore the significant historical remnants of Bocachica. This tour will span 45 minutes, during which you will discover how the fort's strategic placement aided in defending the island against pirates and invaders during colonial times.

Following our visit to the fort, we will head to the Playa Morena Beach Club, inviting you to lounge on their comfortable hammocks and sunbeds. A hearty lunch will be served, featuring options like fish, chicken, or pasta, complemented by coconut rice, salad, and fried plantains.

After a relaxing day at the beach club, we will return to the dock at Bocachica. Our boat will set sail back to La Bodeguita Pier at 3 pm, with an estimated return in Cartagena de Indias around 3:30 pm.

For an enhanced experience, consider the VIP tour option. This package includes all activities listed above, plus a welcome cocktail and a surprise starter dish when you arrive at the beach club. Your lunch will also come with a beverage.
