Enjoy an incredible day communing with nature on this cruise tour on the Tagus, the longest river in the Iberian Peninsula.

Tagus River Cruise Tour

At the agreed time, we'll meet at the Parque Fluvial da Valada do Ribatejo, located in the municipality of Cartaxo. There, we'll board a boat for a ride on the Tagus River to start our sailing adventure.

Once we're all on board, we'll begin sailing one of the most important rivers in the Peninsula. During this cruise tour, we'll enjoy the great diversity of wildlife and vegetation that we can find in this environment. If you look closely, you'll even be able to see herds of wild horses as you enjoy a glass of traditional sparkling wine typical from this region.

Did you bring your binoculars? During the tour, we'll pass by the Ilha das Garças, and, if we're lucky, we will be able to observe different species of native birds such as various types of herons and ospreys.

Then we'll stop at the fishing village of Escaroupim to visit its two small museums.

If you choose the afternoon tour, you'll enjoy the waters of the Tagus River being tinged by the sun. After two and a half hours, we'll finish the tour at the meeting point.
