El Rompido Bike Tour

We'll meet at the indicated time in the car park of the El Faro Shopping Centre to start our bike tour of El Rompido.

We'll cycle to the Paraje Natural Marismas del Río Piedras, a landscape that extends from the mouth of the Río Piedras river, made up of marshes and a sandy formation called the Flecha del Rompido (Arrow of Rompido).

Historical settlers include Phoenicians, Romans, and Muslims, leaving behind intriguing archaeological remains. We will also explore the coastal landscapes of dunes and marshes, observing indigenous birds, fish, and molluscs that inhabit this protected area.

At the end of the tour, we will return to the starting point.
