El Rompido Bike Tour

We'll meet at the indicated time in the car park of the El Faro Shopping Centre to start our bike tour of El Rompido.

We'll cycle to the Paraje Natural Marismas del Río Piedras, a unique landscape that extends from the mouth of the Río Piedras river, consisting of marshes and the Flecha del Rompido (Arrow of Rompido).

Phoenicians, Romans, and Muslims colonised these coasts, leaving behind fascinating archaeological remains. We will explore the landscapes of dunes and marshes and observe various indigenous birds, fish, and molluscs in this protected area.

At the end of the tour, we will return to the starting point.
