El Rompido Bike Tour

We will gather at the specified meeting point in the parking lot of the El Faro Shopping Centre to begin our bike tour of El Rompido.

The route takes us to the Paraje Natural Marismas del Río Piedras, which features a unique terrain that stretches from the Río Piedras river mouth, characterized by marshes and a notable sandy formation known as the Flecha del Rompido (Arrow of Rompido).

This area boasts a rich history, having been colonized by Phoenicians, Romans, and Muslims, each leaving behind intriguing archaeological remains. Along the way, participants will not only take in the incredible landscapes of dunes and marshes but also spot various indigenous birds, fish, and molluscs inhabiting this protected environment.

At the conclusion of the tour, we will return to the starting point.
