Take this tour to the ancient imperial city of Meknes and the Roman ruins of Volubilis, located at the foot of the Atlas Mountains.

Meknes and Volubilis Private Trip

We will collect you from your accommodation or the arranged meeting point in Casablanca and head to the Middle Atlas mountain range. Our destination, Meknes, is approximately 200 kilometers away, with a journey time of about two and a half hours.

Upon arrival in former capital Meknes, we will explore the colorful market filled with traditional products and visit the significant gateway of Bab Mansour, the largest in Morocco and northern Africa. You will also see the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, a sultan who reigned from 1672 to 1721.

Following this, you will have free time for lunch at a local restaurant to sample the local cuisine. After lunch, we will return to our vehicle to proceed to the next destination.

We will explore the historical Roman city of Volubilis, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. Founded by the Carthaginians in the 3rd century BC, Volubilis was largely destroyed by an earthquake in 1755. You will tour the ancient ruins and view the well-preserved mosaic decorations.

At the end of the private tour, we will return to Casablanca and drop you off at the same meeting point.
