Sintra-Cascais Natural Park Bike Tour

The tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Sintra at 9 am, followed by a minibus ride to the Blue Lagoon, located 20 minutes away. Upon arrival, participants will hop on bikes and begin the ride.

The route traverses the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, allowing riders to experience its natural environment. The trail features various tree species, such as oaks and maples. It is worth noting that this area is recognized as a Cultural Landscape World Heritage Site.

The first stop is at Quinta do Pisão, where participants may encounter local wildlife, including grey herons, common buzzards, and foxes. Following this, the tour continues to the Peninha Sanctuary and the Convento dos Capuchos, a 16th-century Franciscan monastery, offering stunning views of the Portuguese coast.

After the bike ride, the group returns to the Blue Lagoon to take the minibus back, expected to arrive by around 12 pm.

Important information

The minimum height to participate in the activity is 1.5 metres (4 ft 9 inches).Children under 18 must always be accompanied by an adult.
