Options
When making your reservation, you can choose one of the following tours. Both options include pickup at 8 am at your hotel in Casma, transportation, an English-speaking guide, entrance fees, and the return transfer.
Chankillo & Cerro Sechín Tour (7 hours)
This option visits the archaeological site of Chankillo first, including the Thirteen Towers, the oldest astronomical complex in America, added to the World Heritage Sites list in July 2021. The tour also includes the ancient fortified temple of Chankillo, believed to be built between 257 and 201 B.C. After the history tour, there will be a visit to a local restaurant for an hour for lunch on your own. Following lunch, the tour proceeds to Cerro Sechín to explore its 4,000-year-old complex, including its lithographic engravings and the Max Uhle Museum.
Chankillo, Cerro Sechín & Las Aldas Tour (8 hours)
This option follows the same itinerary as the previous one, minus the carob forest visit. After exploring Cerro Sechín and the Max Uhle Museum, the tour will continue to the coast to visit the archaeological site of Las Aldas, where the origins of this ceremonial, administrative, and scientific center from between 1925 and 1410 BC will be discussed.
