Las Aldas & La Gramita Beach Excursion

We'll pick you up at 2 pm at your hotel in Casma and drive to Las Aldas, a significant archaeological complex on the Peruvian coast.

Upon arrival, we'll go on a guided tour of Las Aldas to learn about its history. Archaeologists date its origins between 1925 and 1410 B.C., situated between the Late Archaic and Formative periods. Despite the centuries, traces of this ancient civilization remain visible.

During the tour, we'll explore the three functions of this complex as a ceremonial, administrative and scientific center. We'll discover how marine resources were managed and the rites conducted at its ancient astronomical observatory, positioned to observe the night sky.

After visiting Las Aldas, we'll proceed to the beach of La Gramita to enjoy the scenery of this fishing cove. Visitors can also taste seafood and fresh fish dishes made from local products.

Finally, we'll return to your hotel in Casma, with arrival scheduled for between 5 and 5:30 pm.
