Description

We'll meet at Plaza de la Independencia. This square features Parque Ribalta Park and modernist houses. The tour will lead us to the Plaza de Tetuán, where we will see the Post Office building, inaugurated in 1932, showcasing a mix of neo-Mudejar and Valencian modernism.

Next, we will walk along Avenida del Rey Jaume I and visit Plaza Huertos Sogueros, home to the statue of Les Cordeliers by Joan Ripollés. We will then pass through Puerta del Sol, surrounded by early 20th-century buildings including the Hotel Suizo and the Casino Antiguo.

The route continues to Plaza Santa Clara and Castellón's Plaza Mayor, where we will see the Town Hall, the Central Market of Castellón, and the façade of Castellón Co-Cathedral, notable for its Valencian Gothic architecture and bell tower, El Fadrí, a symbol of Castellón. The tour lasts a total of 2 hours.
