Delta del Ebro Day Trip & Boat Ride

At 2:30 pm, we meet at the Castellón de la Plana Tourist Office. From here, we will travel for an hour and a half to the Delta del Ebro, where we can see notable places aboard a catamaran.

Upon arrival, we will embark and start a 50-minute journey around Buda Island. During the trip, we will discuss the geographical characteristics of the area. The wetland water is rich in crustaceans, which are used in local dishes. We will also learn about the island's history and its name.

We will continue sailing through the rice fields and discover the workings of these traditional crops, with a chance to see birds such as flamingos and seagulls.

Afterwards, we will visit the Ecomuseum to understand the conservation importance of the Delta del Ebro.

Finally, we will return to Castellón de la Plana, arriving around 8:30 pm.
