Tour the coastal district of Castellón de la Plana with this Grau de Castelló Guided Tour, where you'll discover its modernist houses and its seafaring tradition.

Grau de Castelló Guided Tour

We'll meet at 11:30 am at 28 Paseo de Buenavista. The tour will begin by admiring the modernist houses built in the area during the early 20th century.

After learning about the history of these houses, the tour will continue to La Panderola Park to see an old locomotive from the railway line that connected El Grau with the city of Castellón. Next, we'll visit the Museum of the Sea to explore the local seafaring tradition.

Our next stop will be the historic centre, where we will see the San Pedro Church and the fish market. Nearby is the Sailing Club, adjacent to the loading and unloading docks.

The route will continue along Plaza del Mar and the Puerto Azahar esplanada, known for its variety of leisure and restaurant options. Visitors can also watch boats setting sail for the Columbretes Islands, located 50 kilometers off the coast of Castellón.

The tour will conclude at 1 pm next to the Puerto Azahar lighthouse, a symbol of Grau de Castelló from the 19th century that was relocated stone by stone to its current site.
