Want to explore the most famous caves in the Province of Castellón? Enjoy these amazing underground landscapes on this tour of the San José Caves on a boat.
Description
At the time indicated, we'll meet at the Tourist Office in Castellón and head south to the town of Vall de Uxó.
Once in this town, at the foot of the Sierra de Espadán Natural Park, we'll start a guided tour of the San José Caves. These caves maintain a constant temperature of 20ºC (68ºF) year-round, and we will explore them by foot for 255 metres (835 feet).
Then, we'll take a boat on the largest underground river in Europe. We will sail down an 800-metre (2625-foot) stretch, observing the various rock formations on the cave walls and learning about the geological features of the caves.
After visiting the caves, we'll go to the Calzados Segarra museum-shop, the oldest shoe company in Spain, founded in 1882.
Finally, we'll return to the meeting point in Castellón after a total duration of 5 hours.
