Traiguera & Cervera del Maestre Day Trip

We'll meet outside the Castellón de la Plana Tourist Office, located in the Plaza de la Hierba. When all have arrived, we'll take a bus to Traiguera.

In Traiguera, we will visit a farm to see thousand-year-old olive trees, including the one awarded as the best monumental olive tree in Spain. We will learn about local olive oil production and attend an olive oil tasting with typical cold meats.

Next, we will drive to Cervera del Maestre and visit the Oil Mill Visitor Centre, dating back to the Medieval period.

After this, we will tour the town, walk through its cobbled streets, and admire its architecture, including the medieval castle, providing breathtaking views of the Maestrazgo region.

We will return to Traiguera to visit the Royal Sanctuary Virgen Fuente de la Salud, an Asset of Cultural Interest from the 14th century, showcasing Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque elements. We will see the old pilgrim's hospice, frescoes, palace, and priests' house.

The trip will end between 2:30 pm and 3 pm back at our starting point.
