Mount Etna Day Trip

On this day trip to Mount Etna from Taormina, we will explore one of Europe's prominent volcanoes, including two of its craters and local flora and fauna.

Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we will pick you up from the meeting point in Taormina and travel by minibus to Etna National Park. The journey offers a historical, geological, and volcanological overview of Mount Etna, while showcasing various vegetation types such as citrus orchards, vineyards, chestnut groves, and pine forests.

After approximately an hour and a half drive, we will reach an altitude of 1,900 m (6,233 ft). You will have 2.5 hours to explore the area at your own pace. If you wish to go higher, you can book an additional tour during your free time to reach the maximum altitude of 2,750 m (9,022 ft).

We will then regroup and stop at a nearby restaurant for lunch before returning. Our day trip will conclude at the meeting point after 8 hours.
