Mount Etna Day Trip

On this day trip to Mount Etna from Taormina, explore one of Europe's most famous volcanoes, including two craters and local flora and fauna.

Day Trip Details

At the scheduled time, you'll be picked up from the meeting point in Taormina and travel by minibus to Etna National Park. The trip includes a historical, geological, and volcanological overview of Mount Etna, highlighting various types of vegetation, such as citrus orchards, vineyards, chestnut groves, and pine forests.

After approximately 1.5 hours, you'll arrive at an altitude of 1,900 m (6,233 ft). Here, you'll have 2.5 hours to explore the area at your leisure. For those wishing to go higher, you can book an additional tour to reach an altitude of 2,750 m (9,022 ft) during your free time.

After the exploration, the group will regroup and stop at a nearby restaurant for lunch on your own. The day trip concludes at the meeting point after 8 hours.
