Mount Etna Winery Visit

Wine tourism and nature come together in this visit to a winery on Mount Etna. You'll enjoy the exquisite wines produced on the slopes of this famous Sicilian volcano.

Description

At the indicated time, we will pick you up at your hotel and depart from Taormina to head for Etna. We will make a brief stop in Piedimonte Etneo for coffee before proceeding to a winery near the Etna Park Natural Reserve.

At the typical Sicilian winery, we will explore the secrets of their wines, including a visit to the barrel cellar, vineyards, and discussions on Etna grape growing. You will learn about the influence of volcanic soil and common grape varieties.

Access to the tasting room is included, where you will sample 3 wines and a prosecco, paired with cheeses, olives, aubergine, and other appetizers. The excursion lasts approximately 4.5 hours, concluding upon our return to the starting point.
