Discover the filming sites of The Godfather during this engaging Savoca tour. Visit the memorable locations that brought this legendary film to life and immerse yourself in its cinematic history.

Tour Overview

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Taormina at the designated time, as we set off towards our first destination: Savoca. It is here that the young Michael Corleone reconnects with his Sicilian ancestry. Let’s embark on this journey!

Savoca was handpicked by Francis Ford Coppola as a primary venue for capturing scenes from The Godfather. Once we arrive, we'll embark on a captivating tour of the distinct filming sites that played a pivotal role in this classic piece of cinema.

During our exploration, we will reflect on the history of the Sicilian mafia, delving into both the fictional Corleone narrative and its real-life inspirations. Among the highlights is the illustrious St. Nicholas Church, where the wedding of Michael and Apollonia took place. It might ring a bell! Additionally, we will stop by Bar Vitelli, where you can occupy the very same seat that Al Pacino once sat in.

Next, we’ll head to Forza d'Agro, where we will admire its stunning cathedral. Would you like a moment to unwind? You will have some leisure time to savor a coffee from a classic Italian café.

After approximately 5 hours, we will conclude our tour of The Godfather filming locations and make our way back to your hotel in Taormina.
