Description

We'll meet at the indicated time at the Giovanna Tantini winery in Castelnuovo del Garda. Once assembled, we'll learn about the philosophy, history, and facilities of this wine dedicated company.

We will start by walking through the cellar's vineyards with Giovanna Tantini, the owner. After discussing the different grape varieties on the estate, we will begin our tasting, which includes a total of 6 wines alongside a platter of cold meats and cheeses.

The tasting begins with a Custoza, a fresh white wine typical of the area, followed by a Chiaretto, the Rosè DOC made from Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes. We will then taste a Bardolino DOC, the company's specialty, and a Garda Corvina DOC 100% Corvina, a fresh version of the grape.

The penultimate tasting will be an Ettore IGT, a blend of Corvina, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot aged in wood for 18 months. The final tasting will feature a Greta IGT, where grapes are dried in the vineyard, a unique process that defines its strong identity.

After 1.5 hours of wine tasting, we'll conclude the tour.
