At the appointed time, we'll meet at Avenida Nuno Álvares to start this walking tour of museums in Castelo Branco. During the tour, we'll explore the history and main monuments of this Portuguese city.
While strolling through the capital of the ancient region of Beira Baixa, we'll observe the remaining Templar walls, the façades of the Igreja da Misericórdia, also known as the 'Church of Mercy,' the Cathedral, and manor houses of historically significant families.
Next, we'll visit the Castelo Branco embroidery interpretation center, where we'll learn about one of the town's traditional activities.
We will then walk through Parque Da Cidade and enter the Jardim do Paço, renowned for its Baroque art, featuring fountains and sculptures.
