Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Piazza Bastione to begin this guided tour of Castelsardo. Located on a promontory on the northwest coast of Sardinia, it's considered a notable village in Italy.
We'll start our tour at the Porta Pisana, an entrance that reflects medieval times. We will continue through the characteristic streets of Castelsardo, sharing stories and legends while observing its architecture.
Our next stop will be the Loggia Comunale, an emblematic building that reflects the local history and culture. Afterwards, we will visit the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, where we will discuss the city's religious tradition, including the festivities and processions of Holy Week.
You will then have some free time to visit the Castle of Castelsardo or the ancient medieval fortress, the Castello dei Doria. The views of the Mediterranean Sea from this point will provide a great photo opportunity.
To conclude this visit, we’ll enjoy an aperitif in a typical restaurant, featuring local products like sausages, cheeses, and accompanying drinks such as Vermentino or Cannonau, beer, or soft drinks.
After 2 hours, we'll finish this guided tour of Castelsardo. We hope to see you again soon!
