Canyoning at Buitre Gorge

Enjoy an exciting rush of adrenaline as you rappel down the narrow walls of the Buitre gorge in this canyoning adventure in the Castril valley.

Canyoning at Buitre Gorge

At 9:30 am, we'll meet outside the Asador Romero, located 5 kilometers from the center of Castril. After introductions, we'll follow the guide in our vehicles to the starting point of the route.

We will arrive at the gorge of El Buitre, part of the Sierra de Castril natural park, known for its waterfalls and narrow walls, suitable for canyoning. After equipping with necessary gear, we'll conduct a brief theoretical class on safety measures before starting the activity.

The tour includes a total of nine rappels, with two rappels nearly 100 feet (30 meters) long. Participants will enjoy the views while engaging in the adventure.

The return involves a short climb to a dirt track near the vehicles.

We will conclude the activity at 12:30 pm in the parking lot of the Buitre gorge.
