Canyoning at Buitre Gorge

Enjoy an exciting rush of adrenaline as you rappel down the narrow walls of the Buitre gorge in this canyoning adventure in the Castril valley.

At 9:30 am, we'll meet outside the Asador Romero, located just 5 kilometers from the center of Castril. After introductions, we'll travel in our own vehicles, following the guide to the starting point of the route.

We will arrive at the gorge of El Buitre, a corridor of the Sierra de Castril natural park, known for its waterfalls and narrow walls, ideal for canyoning. After setting up with the necessary equipment, we'll provide a brief theoretical class on safety measures before starting the adventure.

During the tour, you'll experience nine different rappels, including two nearly 100 feet (30 meters) long. As we rappel, we'll also enjoy the stunning views of this natural space.

The return is straightforward as we'll climb a slope that leads us to a dirt track near the vehicles.

We'll conclude the activity at 12:30 pm in the parking lot of the Buitre gorge.
