Canchaque Excursion

Want to get to know the Switzerland of Peru? On this excursion to Canchaque, we'll learn about the history of this beautiful town and discover the natural highlights of its surroundings!

Canchaque Excursion

Between 6 and 6:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Piura and then head to the town of Canchaque. The bus ride will take approximately 3 hours.

Upon arrival, we will take a short break for you to have breakfast on your own. Afterwards, we will start a walking route to discover the landscapes of this town known for its hillsides full of vegetation.

First, we'll head to the suspension bridge for a view of Limón creek, then continue the guided tour at the viewpoint of Huayanay hill. After this, you will have 1.5 hours of free time for lunch in a local restaurant.

After lunch, we will go on a short hike to see Los Peroles de Mishahuaca, a waterfall divided into three levels. This sight can be reached in a 20-minute walk.

The tour will conclude in the historic center of Canchaque, where we will admire the colonial architecture of the Plaza de Armas and stroll through the narrow streets while learning about its history.

We will finish the excursion by dropping you back off at your hotel between 7 and 7:30 pm.
