Want to get to know the Switzerland of Peru? On this excursion to Canchaque, we'll learn about the history of this beautiful town and discover the natural highlights of its surroundings!

Canchaque Excursion

Between 6 and 6:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Piura and then head to Canchaque. The bus ride will take approximately 3 hours.

Upon arrival, we'll take a short break for breakfast on your own. Afterwards, we'll start a walking route to discover the town’s landscapes, famous for its lush hillsides.

First, we'll visit the suspension bridge for a view of Limón creek and continue the guided tour at the viewpoint of Huayanay hill. You'll then have 1.5 hours of free time for lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, we'll embark on a short hike to see Los Peroles de Mishahuaca, a waterfall with crystal clear waters, reachable by a 20-minute walk.

We will conclude the tour with a walk through the historic center of Canchaque, admiring the colonial architecture of the Plaza de Armas and exploring the town while learning about its history.

Finally, we'll drop you off at your hotel between 7 and 7:30 pm.
