Canchaque Excursion

Want to get to know the Switzerland of Peru? On this excursion to Canchaque, we'll learn about the history of this beautiful town and discover the natural highlights of its surroundings!

Canchaque Excursion

Between 6 and 6:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Piura and then head to the town of Canchaque. The bus ride will take approximately 3 hours.

Upon arrival, we'll take a short break for breakfast on your own. Afterwards, we'll start a walking route to discover the landscapes of this town known for its hillsides full of lush vegetation.

First, we'll visit the suspension bridge, offering an incredible view of Limón creek, followed by a guided tour at the viewpoint of Huayanay hill. You'll then have 1.5 hours of free time for lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, we'll embark on a short hike to admire Los Peroles de Mishahuaca, a waterfall of crystal clear waters divided into three levels, after a 20-minute walk.

The final part of the tour includes a stroll through the historic center of Canchaque, where we will admire the colonial architecture of the Plaza de Armas and explore the narrow streets while learning about its history.

We will conclude the excursion by returning you to your hotel between 7 and 7:30 pm.
