Canchaque Excursion

Want to get to know the Switzerland of Peru? On this excursion to Canchaque, we'll learn about the history of this beautiful town and discover the natural highlights of its surroundings!

Canchaque Excursion

Between 6 and 6:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Piura and then head to the town of Canchaque. The bus ride will take approximately 3 hours.

Upon arrival, we'll take a short break for you to have breakfast on your own. Afterwards, we'll begin a walking route to discover the landscapes of this town known for its lush vegetation.

First, we'll visit the suspension bridge for views of Limón creek. Then, we'll continue the guided tour at the viewpoint of Huayanay hill. You will have 1.5 hours of free time to have lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, we'll take a short hike to see Los Peroles de Mishahuaca. This waterfall consists of three levels and requires a 20-minute walk to reach.

Finally, we will explore the historic center of Canchaque, admiring the colonial architecture of the Plaza de Armas and learning about the town's history as we stroll through its narrow streets.

We'll conclude the excursion by dropping you back off at your hotel between 7 and 7:30 pm.
