Discover the marvels of the north of Etna National Park on this 4x4 tour of Monti Sartorius. Plus, we'll visit Thieve's Cave. It will be an unforgettable experience!

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Piazza dei Martiri. Here, we'll board a 4x4 and leave Catania behind as we start our route to Etna National Park.

Following the lesser-known paths in the park, we'll provide information about the history, culture, and traditions linked to one of the most famous volcanoes in Italy. Additionally, you'll learn about the area’s flora and fauna, and the changing landscape due to Etna’s eruptions.

After the first part of the 4x4 tour, we'll stop in the town of Milo, the highest town in the park, offering views of the Ionic Sea, Taormina, and the volcano's crater.

We will continue to Monti Sartorius, consisting of 7 inactive craters formed in the 1865 eruption. Here, we will explore an area surrounded by white birch trees.

After a brief stop at a mountain refuge, we will exit the 4x4, don helmets, and enter Thieve's Cave, a small lava tunnel from Prehistory.

To conclude, we'll travel to Zafferana Etnea, where we'll have the opportunity to sample Sicilian delicacies, including honey, wine, and different liquors.

Finally, we will return to the starting point in Catania at the end of this 4.5-hour tour.
