Mount Etna & Alcantara Gorge 4x4 Tour

At 8:30 am, we'll meet at Piazza dei Martiri and board a 4x4 vehicle to explore two notable natural sites in Sicily. Departing from Catania, we will reach Mount Etna in under an hour.

During the first part, we will visit one of Italy's most famous volcanoes. You will walk along various trails, observe inactive craters, and learn how the flora and fauna adapt to volcanic terrain. Your guide will provide insight into the area's suitability for wine cultivation and share interesting facts about this natural park.

Next, we will stop at a restaurant for a snack featuring different types of liquors, wines, honeys, and other regional products.

Afterwards, we will proceed to Alcantara Gorge Natural Park. Approaching the river, we will discuss the formation of the impressive rocky walls from its banks, a stunning natural phenomenon.

The excursion concludes at 4:30 pm with our return to the original meeting point in Catania.
